We are seeking a detail- oriented HVAC & Electric Service Dispatcher to manage scheduling, dispatching, and closing out service calls while ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves coordinating communication between technicians and customers, handling service inquiries, and processing paperwork.
Additionally, the dispatcher will assist the Office Manager with various operational tasks as needed, including billing and collections of payments, data entry, marketing, and other administrative duties to ensure business efficiency.
The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience in customer service or dispatching, strong problem-solving skills and a customer focused approach.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in customer service or dispatching
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in computer systems and dispatching software
General duties:
- Assign and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations using OneStep GPS system. Provide clear instructions, updates and information for the work requests.
- First point of contact for customers; managing customer requests, complaints and inquiries.
- Receive and process orders or requests for service. Provide updates and information to customers until work is completed.
- Assess situations and prioritize calls or tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Assist with customer billing and collection of payments.
- Update client information in the company’s database.
